2. Who Can Purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have permission from a parent or guardian) and are legally able to enter into a purchase agreement.

3. Our Products

New Vinyl

New vinyl records are sold sealed unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Used Vinyl & Grading

Used vinyl records are graded using the Goldmine Grading Standard, unless stated otherwise. Grading is subjective and reflects our honest assessment at the time of listing. Minor cosmetic marks or light surface noise consistent with the listed grade may be present.

All used records are sold as described and priced accordingly.

If you’re unsure about a specific pressing or condition, we encourage you to contact us before purchasing.

4. Playback & Equipment Disclaimer

Playback quality can vary depending on turntable setup, stylus condition, tracking force, and other equipment factors. We cannot guarantee identical playback results across all systems and are not responsible for issues caused by improper setup or equipment wear.

5. Pricing & Listings

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. While we do our best to ensure accuracy, mistakes can occasionally happen. We reserve the right to correct errors or cancel orders if pricing or product information is incorrect.

6. Orders & Payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed and you receive an order confirmation.

Payments are securely processed through Squarespace’s third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment details.

7. Shipping

Where We Ship

We currently ship within the United States only.

Processing & Delivery Times

Processing times and delivery estimates are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed.

Media Mail

If you select USPS Media Mail, please note that delivery can take longer than standard shipping. By choosing Media Mail, you acknowledge and accept these extended transit times.

Risk of Loss

Responsibility for your order transfers to you once the package is handed over to the shipping carrier.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the item and packaging. This allows us to quickly assist with a replacement or refund when applicable.

Claims submitted after this timeframe may not be eligible for resolution.

9. Returns & Refunds

Used Vinyl

Due to the nature of used records, all used vinyl sales are final. Returns or exchanges are only accepted if the item arrives damaged or is materially different from its description.

New Vinyl

New, sealed vinyl may be returned within 14 days of delivery if it remains unopened and in original condition. Opened or played records are not eligible for return.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

We strongly encourage customers to contact us before opening a dispute — we are always happy to work toward a fair solution.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, text, logos, and design — belongs to Cap City Groove and may not be reused without permission.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse this website, including engaging in fraudulent activity, attempting chargebacks without contacting us first, or interfering with site operations.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed under California law, our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the purchase price of the item in question.
